How to Build & Create a Circle in Minecraft
Learn how to make a circle in Minecraft using simple geometry. Choose your outside diameter, mark the center point, build one quadrant from a Minecraft circle chart, and mirror that quadrant three times to create a symmetrical circle.
How to create a circle in Minecraft step-by-step
1. Choose the diameter (Odd vs. Even)
A 21-block circle fits inside a 21 × 21 square. Odd diameters have one center block (great for beacon towers and single doors); even diameters center cleanly between four blocks (ideal for 2-wide hallways and double doors).

2. Mark the center and cardinal cross
Lay temporary contrasting blocks along the North–South and East–West axes. These lines establish your circle's 4 cardinal edge points and divide the construction into 4 equal quadrants.
3. Read the circle chart block runs
Every pixel in the chart represents one Minecraft block. Instead of counting individual blocks one-by-one, count block runs (e.g. 5 blocks, step in 1, 2 blocks, step in 1, 1 block...). Use our circle chart templates for instant diagrams.
4. Mirror the first quarter to close the loop
Complete the first quadrant, reflect it across the horizontal axis, then mirror both halves across the vertical axis. Verify opposite edge points before building walls upward.

- Confusing the inside floor opening with the outside perimeter diameter (subtract 2 blocks for 1-thick walls).
